The Herts & Essex Urology team has nearly 50 years combined experience in the treatment of genito-urinary conditions. All our medical professionals are fully-qualified and we offer state-of-the-art treatments across the whole range of urological conditions. - Paediatric (Children over 3 years of age) – Circumcision, fixation of testes, hydrocele, bedwetting etc
- Female Urology – bladder problems, Urinary tract infections (cystitis), unstable/irritable bladder, conservative management of incontinence
Mr Bernard Potluri qualified with a MB BS in 1977. He gained his masters in General Surgery in 1981 and was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1989. He then gained his Diploma in Urology from the Institute of Urology and University College, London in 1991.
Mr Potluri is fully registered with the General Medical Council and is listed on the Specialist Register. He was re-validated by the General Medical Council on 9th February 2018.
He is a member of several professional organisations including the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the European Association of Urology, and the American Urological Association.
Under Mr Potluri, Herts & Essex Urology have received awards for clinical excellence four times since 2001.

Although we also run clinics at Nuffield Brentwood and the Oakdin clinic, our main location is the Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth, surrounded by tranquil, sculptured landscaping as well as beautiful wildlife.
